C.T.'S MALE CHOIR

Forty members were present at the annual meeting of the Wellington Commercial Travellers' Male_ Voice Choir' last. week t Mr. Hugh Wright presiding. The secretary (Mr. E. M. Paukhurst) said that during the course of the year a visit was paid to the Ewart Hospital. The choir assisted at the Anzac Night concert, and also" at a performance in aid; of the earthquake .relief fund. On 4th June a concert was'given "at Khandallah in aid of the -Red Cross Society. In July a weekend .visit was made to the Wairarapa, when a," concert was given hi Matserton, at which the-sum of. £45 was raised for the Rotary Club's. "Sunshine Fund," and on the following day; Martinborough was visited, £15 being Xcollected for the local Plunket Society * , ; The election of officers resulted as; follows:—President, Mr.'Hugh Wright; vicepresident, Mr. H. '.G. Mayer; conductor, Mr. John Bishop; deputy-conductor, Mr. F. W. Laycock; honorary pianist, Mr. W. A. Gatheridge honorary.l secretary, Mr. E. M. I'ankhurst; honorary treasurer, Mr. M. S. Galloway; honorary,'librarian, Mr. R. S. Wilson; honorary auditor, Mr. G. Morpeth; committee, Messrs. W. B. Browne. 11. Dellow, E. Pegg, F. Laycock, and R. E. Flaus.
