Junior ■A. Wellington secured an eighf>point win over Kilbirnie. Wellington made 237 (Simpson 47, Wagstaff 49, Johnson 34) and 244 for four wickets declared (Johnson 119, Duff 66 not out, Reid 28 not out). Bowling for Kilbirnie, Armstrong took eight wic.kets for 96 runs. Kilbirnie scored 188 and 163 (Lawrence 69, Greig 40, Clarke 37, Rice 36 not out, Kershaw 67). Bowling for Wellington, Duff five for 40 and two for 23, Ham two for 34 and one for 13, Plant four for 43. Midland, 308, defeated Hutt, 287- (P. Judd 64, Neazor 63, Phillips 21, Lockett 10).
