CANADIAN DUTY ON BUTTER.
The Dairy Board has received the following cable from its London ollice:—"It hap been generally understood here butter optional bills Halifax, London, Bubject to 3 cents duty if landed Canada. Are informed, this regulation not now operative, and that, provided no diversion takes place oiitside'-Canacla, butter under optional bills may be landed at duty-rate 1 cent."
