The Otahuhu Trotting Club's Summer Meeting was held at Alexandra Park in fine weather. There was a large attendance and the course was in good order. Results:—■ .'
Trial Handicap, of 300 soys; one and a half miles; 3.45 class:—l White Satin, COyds behind, 1; 12 Lady Ena, scr, 2; 2 Eangitero, 24yds behind, 3. Scratched: Carl Mack. Won by two and a half lengths. Time, 3min 31 4-ssec.
Mount Albert Handicap of 200 soys; (4.48 class) two miles.—4l Akenehi, 48 yds behind, 1; 3 Kolmar ser, 2; 6 Anseline, 24yds behind, 3. All started. Won by one and a, quarter lengths. Time, 4min 40 2-ssee.
A sensation was caused at 1 p.m. when Great Peter, the favourite for the Cup, was scratched. .
White Satin, in the first event, set a fresh record for three-year-olds.
