It is understood that M. Briand, who will continue to hold the portfolio of Foreign Affairs in tho new French Cabinet,' will, return to'the London Naval Conferenco as head of the French delegation. His principal colleagues aro expected to bo M. Albert Sarraut, who 'attended tho Washington Conference, M. Francois Pietri, and M. Charles Danielou, who is president of the Briand Group in the Chamber of Deputies.

Although the conference stands adjourned until Wednesday, tho experts aro daily continuing tlie examination of the question of special ships not belonging to any clearly defined category, and expect to be able to complete tho report for tho First Committee by tho time the conference resumes.
