TARDIEU'S ATTITUDE
CANNOT COLLABORATE
LINE AT NAVAL CONFERENCE
PARIS, 21st February.
M. Tardieu, in declining to enter the Cliau temps Cabinet, declared thai events did not permit of collaboration
This might be interpreted as a disavowal of the majority whereby his Government had been faithfully defended in its international actions at Tho Hague and London, but he assured M. Chautemps that he would support any Government taking the same line as himself at tho Naval Conference.'
An official correction shows that the Tardieu Government was only defeated by a majority of ono, not five.
