LEAGUE FOOTBALL

DISSENSION IN CHRISTCHURCH

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

CELRISTCHURCH, This Day.

"That this meeting of registered players of the Canterbury Rugby League places on record its utter lack of confidence in the present Management Committee of the league in its attitude in the present dispute with the trustees of the league, and, further, this meeting pledges itself to take proper steps to effect a retirement of the chairman1, the secretary, and the treasurer of the league, failing which the meeting invites all clubs to secede and reform the league." This motion had only one-dis-sentient when it was carried at a meeting of league players last night. The chair-man-referred, to is. Mr. J..-K. Worrall.
