At a meeting of the Council of tho New Zealand Swimming- Association to-night the secretary stated he had received an invitation from the New South Wales Association for C. Bndson to visit Australia this year. Bndsotf had advised ho was unable to undertake a long tour this season. Tho council decided to forego any claim to part of the subsidy of £1000 offered by Canada tor a team from Kcw Zealand to visit the Empire iiames, the understanding being that the Bowing Association should have tho wholo subsidy io send tho besl eight available.
