MASTERTON, This Day.
Tho news that wool buyers wero persisting in their boycott' gave. rise to> anxious discussion amongst representative sheep farmers' at -.the Masterton A. and P. Association's Show yesterday, and there w,as some talk of the advisability of calling a district conference It v appeared to be felt, however,' that littlo could be accomplished by district consultation, and that the initiative should-, bo taken by the Dominion executives or organisations ropresenting the producers. Accepting that view, Mr., O. C. Jackson, Wairarapa provincial president of tho Farmers' Union, telegraphed to tho Dominion headquarters of the union asking whether it was,, getting into toUch with tho New Zealand Sheep Owners' Federation regarding methods of dealing with the situation.
