• SYDNEY, This Day. : Tho Minister of Mines states that stoppages in the northern coalfields since 1919.numbered 2928. The miners' losses in wagos amounted to over eight "and a half, millions j sterling in fifteen years. The coal miners, constituting 2 per cent, of tho total employees in tho State, caused 80 per cent, of tho industrial disputes and a loss of eight million working days.
