MINE IDLE
DISPUTE AT DENNISTOX ' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WESTPORT, This Day. The Denniston mine has been idle yesterday and to-day owing to a dispute over the employment of a fireman. It is reported that the fireman overstayed Mb leave and when he returned was re. fused his old position. The matter was reported to the union, who stopped work at tho mine. The mine is now idle pending a settlement. ,
