The Madrid correspondent of "The Times" says that daybreak to-day saw a dozen firemen fixing long ladders and removing the signboard "National Consultative Assembly" which' Do Rivera caused to'bo erected, blotting out the inscription "Chamber of Deputies" on the Chamber buildings. Thus the earliest opportunity haa bceu taken of affording visual proof that King Alfonso last night signed tho decree/ abolishing Do Rivera's Assembly, which was the bugbear of Parliamentarians.,
Count Romanbiics, who was among the various politicians -whom Do Rivera ostracised,,and.-finod,,. and, is the-,doyen of tho Deputies, with childish gleo carried off a big letter "A," intending to hang it;over his desk as a souvenir of Do Rivera's downfall.
