CORN WELL CUP
MEETING OF DELEGATES

DUNEDIN, This Day.
The delegates and crews for tho Cornwell Cup contests were accorded a civic reception. At the conference of delegates, Mr. AY. Johnson (Auckland) was elected president.
A remit from Otago that all crews should wear approved life jackets was referred to tho Takapuna Club. The Manukau delegate considered that the jackets would hamper the boys.
It was decided to recommend to the Takapuna Club that the depth' of the rudders be increased by four inches. It was further recommended that the measurements of the sails should be made definite, with do allowance for stretching, and that tho width of the cloth used in making sails should also be defined.
It was decided to start the first race at 2.30 this afternoon. On tho following daysj when two races will ho held, the starting times will be 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The draw for boats resulted: Auckland, Suzette; Wellington, Colleen; Christchurch, Pauleen; Otago, Zita; Manukau, Wee May; Lyttelton, Pupuki.
