DUNEDIN, This Day.

Duuedin will havo its first introduction to the sport of broadsiding on the night of 2flth Tebruarjr, and arrangements are now practically completed for the opening of the new' speedway at South Duuedin. A piece of land, formerly the site of Chinese gardens and now the property of the Otago Rugby League, has been leased to the speedways authorities and has been converted into a modern stadium with seating accommodation for 10,000 spectators. The work has been carried out within three weeks under the supervision of the contractor, Mr. L. G. Martin, of Christchureh.
