BATTLE OVER DIVORCE COURTS
(Received 18th February, 2.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, 17tt February. Warning of battle ever the proposal to establish Divorce Courts in. Quebec was served on the Dominion Government by Cardinal Rouleau of Quebec, with the Archbishops of Montreal and Ottawa and bishops throughout Quebec. A pastoral, read in all churches, states that powerful influences are working not to improve tho present Divorce Courts, but to establish and extend;innumerable Courts, despite the fact that in Quebec the sentiment is preponderantly that marriage as a-sacrament is indissoluble. ' .
