Tho "Daily Telegraph" learns on good authority that when Gialdini fled 'from London he had under his personal control at least £1,000,000, mostly in bearer bonds and actual cash, all gleaned from the fraudulent transactions of the Hatry companies. No decision has yet been reached whether the British Government will prosecute him in Italy. If such action is not taken it will be owing to the difficulty of get-j ting witnesses to attend protracted proceedings in Italy and the enormous co^t ] involved.
