JOURNALISTS ENTERTAINED

LONDON, loth February

A party of British and foreign journalists attending the Naval Conference were the guests of the Prime Minister at Chequers. Mr. Mac Donald and his daughter Ishbel received them and showed them the house,! entertained them at tea, and walked' round the estate. Mr. Mac Donald afterwards sat at the fireside conversing intimately with his guests under the cosiest conditions.

This is the first time any Prime Minister had such a party, but politics were not mentioned.
