FULL AMOUNT AWARDED

The petition of right brought against the Crown by Horace John Moon, a labourer, for £2000 damages, resulted in a verdict in his favour for the full amount being, returned by the jury on Saturday. The action was a sequel to an accident which occurred at the Moera railway workshops last May, and in which one mau was killed and three others were injured. Mr. Justice Ostler was on the Bench. Mr. P. J. O'Regan appeared for the suppliant, and Mr. P. S. K. Macassey, with him Mr. C. Evans-Scott, for the Crown.
