BATES.—On 37th February, at Wellington Hospital, Ellen, dearly beloved sister of iMrs. O'.t, Island Bay; aged 73.

BATES.—On 17th' February, 1930, passed peacefully away at Wellington Hospital, dearly beloved wife of George Bates, Petone, also beloved mother of George, James, Alfred, Harry, and Mrs. R. Kicholls and Mrs. G. Corby, 142, Nelson street, Petone. (A patient sufferer at rest.)
