The match between Kilbirnie B and Seatoun A was set down to be played at the Basin Reserve, and a start was made in the rain. Seatoun were given first strike, and had made 120 runs for the loss of one wicket when it was decided to draw stumps, although Kilbirnie were keen to continue. Canute (6S) and Tucker (48) were the principals in the good scoring effort, and both were unbeaten.
