Time, lmin 45sec. > Waimangu Stakes, of 130 soys; six furlongs.—Rose Willonyx, 8.11 (Goldfinch), 1; 1 Little Toy, 8.11, 2; 5 Rangikaha, 9.0, 3. Creina's King in the Waimangu Handicap lost his rider, M'lnally, a furlong from home. The jockey suffered s broken leg and other injuries.
