In the Police Court Henry Ernest Vincent Foote, charged with breaking and entering'a house' and stealing money and jewellery, was remanded till Friday. The accused was surprised in the house, and was pursued by'a lady, who was later joined by two men. After his capture ho was handed over to the police. ■ ;
