Mr. Georgo Hill, better known as Trooper Kowley Hill, Auckland 'a . oldest veteran, died at Takapuna this morning, aged O,'J v (states a Proas Association telegram). Ho fought with Garibaldi, and was at Sevastopol, and also witli Peel's Brigade in the Indian Mutiny at tho relief Of Luekuow. Lie was a member of yon Tempsky's Forest Rangers ia the Maori War.
