The following players have been selected to represent Auckland in the1 Plunket Shield cricket match against Wellington, a' Wellington, commencing nest Friday: C F. Allcott, A. Anthony, S. A. R. Badeley, W. L. Elliott, W. R. Garrard, H. D. Gillespie, A. M. Matheson, A. W. M'Coy, J. E. Mills, G. L. Weir, A. F. Wensley, P. E. Wkitelaw. C. G. Finlayson was not available. Questioned- regarding, the omission of Rowntree, Mr. N. C. Snedden, a member of the selection committee, said he had no statement to make.
