RAILWAYMEN GUILTY
COMMITTED TOR TRIAL

SYDNEY, 14th February.
The Coroner's inquiry has concluded into the railway accident at "Warrinioo on 27th January, when the driver and fireman of a train were killed. Evidence showed that the accident was duo to the laxity of -certain officials who left tho lock off the catch points, causing the deraiiuiont. The Coroner found that pilotman, Eobert Hindmarsh, and flagman, Alexander Qbllen, were guilty of culpable negligence, and committed both for trial, granting bail in tho sum of £50. Thomas Berkley, signalman at Blaxland, was severely censured. Hindmarsh was described as a man totally unfitted to be pilotman. Hardly one of the rules of his duties was not broken.
A train from the Bluo Mountains on the Western lino was derailed at Warrimoo, and the engine, overturning, killed both driver and fireman. •
