MYSTERY AT 'SOUTHAMPTON

1 LONDON, 12th February. Another "bones" mystery is reported from Southampton.

I The police discovered the greater part of a human skeleton in a rusty which has lain at a haulage contractor's yard for four years. Some of the bones are charred, and there is also a quantity of whiting, lime, and scraps of rotted material. The thigh bone is fractured and there is a dark stain on the skull.

I It is too early to say whether it is a case of murder.
