UPPER HUTT RIFLE CLUB
The Upper Hutt Rifle Club fired a practice match, on Saturday at 800, 000, and 1000 yards.' Conditions were fair, a light rear wind being the' only hindrance to good shooting. The best range scores were at SOO yards;- Rifleman T. Whiteman 34, Rflin. H. Edwards and A. Scott 30 each. At 900 yards, Rflm. T. Whiteman and H. Whiteman, 30 each. At 1000 yards, Rflm. A. Scott 30, Rflm. T. Whiteman 28, Rflm. T. Whiteman secured the leg-in for a trophy. The following' are the scores:—
B Dunn 26, 29, 23, 0, 78; H. Edwards 30, 20, *, S, 04. *Did not compete at 1000 yards. The ranges for next Saturday will be 300 and 500 yards.
