CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

'An inquiry is to be held into the riding of a number of competitors in the tenmile Australasian cycle championship held at English Park on sth February. P. O'Shea, L. W. Hill, W. T. Weir, and S. A. Jordan will be summoned before a special meeting of the North Canterbury Centre of the Cycling Union next Wednesday evening. The matter was discussed at a meeting, of the centre last evening. The chairman (W. J. Walter) said that the race was not as cleanly ridden as it might have been.
