RUGBY, 12th Fein-navy. The Board of Trade returns show that imports for the month oE January were if a value of £101,853,000, a decrease ot £14,692,000 compared with January last year. Exports were of value of £58,262,000, a of £8,617,000 compared with the previous January. One good feature was the coal export, which showed an increase of £1,250,000 over January, 1920.

LONDON, 12th February. The Board of Trade returns for January show that imports decreased by £14 692,000, exports by £8,617,000, and re-exports by £1,636,000. The principal decreases were: Imports—Grain and flour, £1841,000; food and drink, non-dutiable £2,270,000,' dutiable £1,590,000; raw cotton, £4,456,000; wool, £1,547,000. Exports —Iron and steel and manufactures thereof, £948,000; machinery, £621,000; cotton yarns and manufactures, £2,900,000; woollen and worsted ditto, £1,114,000; vehicles, £1 796,000. Increases were: ' ImportsOils Snd fats, £1,636,000; exports—coal, £1,234,000.
