Tho Minister of Labour, Mines, and Marine (the Hon. W. A. Veiteh). left this morning for Wanganui. He expects to return to ■Wellington on Monday. Nest week he will represent the Government at tho opening of the Masterton: A. and P. Society Show. The' Minister of Education (the Hon. Tt. Atmore) leaves' • to-morrow • for Hawkes Bay, Gisboinc, and- Bay of Plenty, returning on Friday next. Tho.Minister of Healtn(the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy) returned from Teilding last night. Bishop' and Mrs. ■W. C. Sadlier. left; by the Maunganui for Sydney to-day. Professor and Mrs. J. Adamson leffj for Sydney to-day by the Maunganui. Colonel D. P. Dickinson was among the passengers who left by the Maunganui for Sydney to-day. The Mayor (Mr. G. A.. Troup) left for Botorua by the express last night. He will remain in that district for a> fortnight, and will then pass through Wellington on his way to the municipal conference in Invereargill. Mr. N. S3. Falla, general traffic manager of the Union Steam Ship Company, left for Sydney . to-day by the-.Maun-ganui. Mr. Falla is accompanied by, his wife and son, Mr. P. S. Falla, who are proceeding by the Otranto to England, where Mr. Falla will be continuing his studies at Oxford University.
