FIRE IN HATAITAI

At 12.15 this morning the Fire Brigade received a call to a six-roorued wooden house at 5, Williams Btreot, Hataitai. Ifour of the rooms with their contents were damaged by fire and water, and tho remainder by heat and smoke. The house is owned and occupied by Lucy Doak, and is insured in the London and ILancashiro office for £1000. A policy for £300 in the New.Zealand Insurance Office covered the contents. The cause of the outbreak is not known.
