OFFICE CLEANING

(To the Editor.) Sir.—Now that the Courthouse has been spring cleaned (as your paper mentioned to-night) and has Jost the dust of ages, to say nothing of thousands upon thousands of influenza and other germs, it would surely be ii good thing for all other Government offices, banks, warehouse?, etc., to get busy and do likewise. Women in the homes keep walls and ceilings vacuumed, and would not suffer from colds,' influenza, etc., were not these troubles brought from neglected offices. Surely the employment of a cleaning company once a year would amply repay cost of cleaning in increased efficiency, through the belter health of staffs. This year many clerks have been N away three or four times with influenza, and, of course, those in their homes have suffered through in-fection.-I am, etc..^ 11th February.
