WAIRARARA MATCH
The following team has been selected ■to represent the Wellington Lawn lenniß Association in its-annual match with the Wairarapa Association at Martinborough on Saturday:— Men: D. G. France, C. E. Malfroy, B. O'Brien, T. S. Williams, S. Wheeler, b. Gifford-Moore, G, Dawson. Ladies: Miss D. Nicholls, Mrs. K. P. Adams, Miss M. Williams, Miss M. Whyte, Miss D. Howe, Miss M. Preedy. At a meeting of the Management Committee held last night it was decided _to write to the New Zealand Association stating that in view of the days:, Monday and Tuesday, set apart in the itinerary for the match Wellington v. the Australian team, the Wellington Association could not undertake to give any guarantee. This was in reply to a. letter from the New Zealand Association asking for a guarantee of £40 for the match.
