Books, sample packets, and newspaper malls close at Courtenay placo and Te Aro Post Offices at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m. daily. The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post.
