DEPUTATION TO MINISTERS

The Chancellor of the Exchequer and the President of tho Board of Trade received a deputation from, tho Free Trade Union yesterday. The deputation urged the importance of a reduction in tariffs, with a view to facilitating international trade. Both Ministers expressed their sympathy and agreement with the views and arguments placed before them.
