Bright Glow started slowly from the seven-furlong p ost , running her. first three furlongs in 40sec and finishing up the seven in lmin 35isec. The mare worked attractively, ana is likely to be reserved for the Stratford Cup - Latakia, Banbridge, Mt. Shannon, and Lady Coburn went fast down the back from the six furlongs, running the first three m 38sec and finishing up the sis « lmin 19isec. Banbridge, who had a big advantr/;e in we:^ut, finished in front of Latakia, with the others some lengths back.

Grand Marnia ana Orby's Choice sprinted two furlongs in 25isec. -Royal Acre and Vivo wont a mile together in lmin 53sec, with nothine between them at the finish Tareka and The Warden ran half a mile in 52Jsec, with the former half' a length in front.

Green Linnet and Gowan Tea were not right out to run four furlongs in Llanore finished in front of Orazone over ft mile, run in lmin 9see. The first three furlongs were covered in 40sec the half-mile in 53sec, five furlongs in lmin 6Jsec, the last three taking 42£ see. Llanore shaped well. ■ Clever, Valpre, and Fortalice finished well together over five furlongs, covered in lmin 6*Seo. The first-named had a slight advantage. , Coalbag finished in front of Joy Spear over five furlongs in lmin 7see. Just So, Anbridge, and Animated finished in that order over five furlongs, run in lmin 6Jsec.
