A. clause is to be inserted appointing Commissioners to frame schemes for amalgamation throughout tho country for the purpose of accelerating amalgamation iho Government adheres to tho belief that statements regarding a large increase, in prices of coal are unfounded. Nevertheless, it will establish a consumers' council, covering the main necessaries of life, namely, food and fuel, under which it will take effective steps to protect the general public
