LONDON, 14th December. An alabaster portrait medallion by Sir Bertram M'Kennal, based on studies executed in the Queen's lifetime, is the centrepiece in a memorial to Queen Alexandra erected in the St. Albans Church, Coper liagen. The medallion is backed with stained glass windows, featuring roses, the allusion being to Rose Day, which Queen Alexandra introduced to assist hospitals. The design also includes St. Elizabeth of Hungary, who devoted he-r widowhood to tliu service of the pool".
