TIO TIO ROAD
(To the Editor.) Siiy-As a resident of Tio Tio road I wish to bring under the notice of those responsible the unsatisfactory condition ot this road so far as pedestrian traffic is concerned. Some weeks back the road received a liberal top-dressing of hard metal and evidently the intention is to leave the vehicle traffic using this road to take the place of the steam roller and m the meantime the public can scramble along the best way tLey can. Is it not possible to put a proper surface on this road, or to provide a footpath? This locality is vapidly developing, and to see young mothers with their perambulators trying to manoeuvre- this street is suihcient to warrant Something being done to make the road a little Getter for thoso continually using it. The dodging of motor vehicles has now developed into a line art amongst the residents of this locality.—l am, etc., TIO TIO.
