BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt With in the Magistrate's Court yesterday by Messrs. H. W. Lloyd, J.P., and D. MiUigan, J.P. C Leaving their cars unattended cost Frank Smith, Ernest M. Finlayson, and Jease E. Colechin 5s each, while Frank Campbell yna ordered to pay the costs, 10s. \ On charges of having' no or defective Sear lights on their vehicles, Dr. H. Arthur, Ernest D. Burr, and George Bray were each fined ss, and Lawrence G. Keyes and John K. Storrle 10s each. George Bray was also fined 5s for having no driver's licence. On similar' charges ijohn A. Kirkcaldie was fined ss, Frank Smith 10s, Stuart L. Gardner 15s, and Idward R. Hawkey £1. '■'. Violet Gastein was ordered to pay the posts of the Court, . 10s, for lighting a fire ia the open without a permit. i, Edward Hartley, for- having no light on his bicycle, was fined 59. Oh a similar charge Benjamin A. Jardine was fined JO*. "" :;■ Fines of 10s each were imposed on EdSrard R. Hawkey, whose motor-car brakes were defective; Harry J. Reynolds, for failing to give way at an intersection, and Abraham Josephs, for failing to sound his horn. ' ■ ' • ; -
