SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.
Mrs. A. D. Mliiuky gave a popular cert to her seafaring guests on Tuesday at the Sailors' Friend Society, and the helpers were heartily applauded. Light refreshments were dispensed by hdstess and helpers. The performers were Mrs. A. D. M'Kinlay, Misses) Jorgenson, Starrock, T. M'Alpine, L. Norris, J. Waters, Fenton, and Messrs. Silver and Knight. Mrs. A. B. M'Kinlay was at the piano. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, spoke on Temperance, and pledges followed. The competitions were held as usual and prizes, donated by Mrs. Yule, went to men in port.
