Handel's great masterpiece remains as popular as ever, being performed by almost every Choral Society throughout the Empire ouce Hall on Saturday next by tho Royal Choral Union under the baton of Mr. John Bishop, by three hundred performers. The following soloists have been engaged: Soprano, Mrs. Amy Woodward; contralto. Miss Mina Caldow; tenor, Mr. Harold Prescott, and baritone, Mr. Ernest Short. For the first time for many years tho famous baritone solo, "The Trumpet Shall Sound," will be sun gwith trumpet obbllgato, played by Mr. Len Neighbours. The box plan is now open at The Bristol. Special concessions are announced to colleges and schools.
