AUCKLAND, This Day.
A decision which may be taken, as a precedent was given by Mr. Justice Smith in a Children's Court appeal case to-day. A boy charged ■with stealing a substantial sum of money was convicted on his own alleged admissions, which were unsupported. His Honour upheld the appeal against the boy's conviction, but ruled that he was sitting as a Children's Court iv appeal, and, therefore, :tho circumstances o£ the case could not be published, '_"_
