SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS.
Moderate to fresh west to south-west winds have prevailed with fair to cloudy weather, but scattered showers have fallen in the South Island and in the interior of the North Island. Barometers have risen steadily, an anti-cyclone having moved on to the Dominion, with its centre to the north.
