Oxenham also troubled I.'airiax and Allsopp, who went early, while Kippax was completely beaten by one from Grimmott, and was stumped by Walker. Bradman played dashingly, JU I slogged every bowler with the utmost disdain. He registered nine 4s. Already Bradman is developing into a splendid all-rounder, his excellent fielding and bowling being a feature o£ the match.
Ihe Test selectors were greatly impressed by Walker's fine wicket-keepin-Ho stumped Woodfull and Kippax like .lightning.
