The Albert Hall was thronged when the Prince of Wales, General Dawes, Lord Plumer, and Lord Eorster attended tho Toe H festival. Tho evening assemblage was even moro uproarious and enthusiastic than last night. When the Prince of Wales was on, the platform it seemed that tho building actually shook while thousands waved programmes, giving a snowstorm effect. The Prince announced that Sir Charles Wakefield had purchased and endowed tho original Talbot House at Poperinghe, and that the Duke of Westminster, in memory of his mother, the Countess Grosvenor, had donated two housea in St. George's Square, thereby establishing another "mark." He also announced that the full-time padre endowment fund had increased from £60,000 to £100,000. Great cheering greeted tiie Prince of Wales when he said that he welcomed the fact that Germany had joined the movement. • The Prince said that the movement was increasing yearly, but they must bo most careful that all members pulled their weight. "I believe that all do," he said. "1 merely utter a warning, lest people think they become members nierolv for tho asking."
The Prince of Wales lit forty new lamps, two from New Zealand, Christchurch and Dunedin, also the Barking lamp, in memory of "Woodbine Willie."
