MAJESTIC THEATRE.
The Reginald Denny who plays the lead in "Embarrassing Moments," tho all-talking production at the Majestic Theatre, is admirably suited for "talkie" roles, his personality being of the type which rivets attention froni his first appearance. "Embarrassing Moments" Is principally bedroom comedy and it is not hard to imagine its hilarous
"all-talking" show. Tho action takes place in the home of Amos Fuller, whose daughter, Marlon, has determined not to marry the small-town beau favoured by her father. In desperation, she names Thaddeus Ctjilcltshank, to her an imaginary person, as the man with whom she has gone through a "trial" marriage. Puller finds that there is such a person, and Immediately sends him a telegram demanding that ho should come to Fullervale and explain himself. Cruickshank sees in the incident an opportunity of relief from the boredom of city life, but he little dreams of tho reception that awaits him, or of tho tangle that is to follow. A support shows play between the English cricket team and New South Wales, and there are most interesting closeups of the players. The remainder of tho programme is of unusual merit
