FIRE IN BOULCOTT STREET
Dense smoke rolling towards the city about 5.30 this morning gave an indication of a big fire in Bouleott street, but in reality the outbreak, which occurred in 60a, a two-storied boarding house, containing nine rooms, was not a large one, and was quickly suppressed by the fire brigade. The house was occupied by Ada Hannah. A front bedroom, with its contents, on the first floor, was damaged by fire, water, and cutting away, and the remaining rooms, with their contents, suffered slightly from smoke, heat, and water. The contents of the house were insured for £200. Particulars of insurance on the house were not available to-day.
