In.conjunction with the Keform candidate Mr. Harold.Johnston, Mr. Coates ■will"speak at Eastbourne on Tuesday night next;, and. at the Moera'Hall on Wednesday. At the Empire Theatre, Petone,-at.-8 p.m. on Thursday the Op.position leadef will, deliver a policy speech. ..Mr.-Stewart will speak with Mr. Johnston at the King George Theatre/ Lower Hutt, on Thursday, and at Day's Bay on Monday, 16th December, will deliver a policy speech. A large attendance for Mr. Johnston's meeting af Lower Hutt on Tuesday is expected. At noon 'on Monday • next Mr. Johnston will ■ speak. to- employees of Atunt, C.ottrell, Ltd., cm Wednesday to employees on Metters' iPorcelain Works, on Thursday to employees of the Odlin Timber Co., Ltd., on Friday to employees of Cook's Cooperage, and on Monday, I6th December, to employees of the Gear Co. . Mr. Walter .Nash will give an address at Day's Bay Pavilion on Monday evening. ,He will speak at Wills's factory, Petone, at noon. On Tuesday, Mr. H. E.: Holland, M.P., Leader of the ParUxmentary Labour Party, will help in the campaign. He will speak on Tuesday evening in the Community Hall, Mpera, at 8 p.m. Mr. Holland will remain till the conclusion of the campaign. On Tuesday Mr. Nash will address the workers at Metters' Ltd. at noon, and a meeting of ladies at Moera at 2 p.m. On Tuesday Mr. Nash will address the electors in the Knox Church Hall, Blackbridge, at 8 p.m. On Wednesday Mr. Nash, Mr. Holland, and other Labour members, will hold five meeting at Eastern Hutt School, Waiwetu Methodist Hall, Lower Hutt Lyceum Hall (for women electors), at 2 p.m., King George Theatre, Lower Hutt
in the evening, and Petone Labour Hall.
On Monday evening, at 8 o'clock, Mr. James Kerr, United candidate, will speak in the. Alieetown Church Hall. On Tuesday, he is to deliver an address in the Empire Theatre, Petone. At both these meetings Mr Kcrr will deal with further points of policy, including land settlement and industrial development. Following meetings arranged by Mr. Kerr are: 12th December, Knox Church Hall, Blaekbridgc; 13th December, Eastbourne Theatre; 14th December, Lower Hutt, King George Theatre. Lunch-hour addresses will be given at the Gear Meat Co. works on 11th December, the Railway Workshops on 12th December, md the Wellington Woollen Mills on 13th December. Owing to indisposition, the Hon. IS. A. Ransom will not speak at Lower Hutt on Tuesday evening next and his place will be taken by the Hon. H. Atmore, Minister of Education.
