The date has not yet been fixed f6r the departure of Lord Bledisloe, the new Governor-General of New Zealand. It is understood he is sailing, late ia
February.
Those -well informed who were aware of the association of Sir Hugh Trenchard's name with the Now Zealand vacancy predict that he will shortly serve in, Australia.
Before the appointment ef Lord Bledisloe as Governor-General of the Dominion, the name of Sir Hugh Trenchard was freely mentioned as Sir Charles Pergusson's successor.
